Pork Lard Apple Pie
Thanksgiving pie pre-orders for Wednesday pick-up have closed as of 4pm on 11/22. There will be some pies available on Wednesday for walk-ins only at the shop on a first come, first served basis. Morgenstern's is open from 12pm - 8pm on 11/23 and will be closed on Thanksgiving day.
**Please note: any pies that are not picked up before Thanksgiving will be donated and are not eligible for refunds.
Made with granny smith apples, and a pork lard crust (not kosher)
Pair your pie with one of our 54 ice cream flavors and make it à la mode! All pies require 48 hours notice prior to pick-up. Pies serve 8 full sized slices but can accommodate up to 10.
Suggested Ice Cream: Buttered Bourbon Vanilla, Crème Caramel, Oatmeal Cookie Dough
STORING/HEATING INSTRUCTIONS
Our hot Thanksgiving pies can stay overnight outside refrigeration for one day. Afterwards they can then be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Pies can be reheated in a 300-325 degree oven for 15-30 minutes until they're hot.
